    Agreed, people always gum up the process. Good on you for doing the rescue work you do. I'm not able to have a dog and it kills me! I grew up with all the animals, it was wonderful having something that just loved you and only ever wanted you to love it back. I miss it.

    Yeah, I got my first rescue Dal in '92, when I wasn't sure I even wanted a dog, (a FWB put a hold on her for me in Houston), but it turned out to be a great thing.

    Pepper, at 11, she lived another 3 years. She always liked to look through the fence in that spot, at the family living behind us, so I cut a hole for her. The wife back there was an aerobics instructor who liked to work on her tan poolside, at least until she saw a human eye looking through that same hole... KIDDING!!!! :rofl::rofl::rofl:

    A needle nose pliers on those slots will allow you to pull the whole thing out. I'd tape the area around it, so you don't scratch the fender.

    You may have to remove firewall side of the fender liner and have to reach in there to losen it up. I still have my old fender at the house if your in no rush when I get home I’ll get some detailed pics of that base and what size wrench you may need. Save ya some headache.
