a new rearview mirror. mine has been broke for a while, went through a license check and the cop noticed it and said he could give me a ticket for it if he wanted to? not to sure if he was right or not. but anyway i need one. so if anyone knows or has a rearview mirror for a 01-04 tacoma. let me know.

Just go to a junk yard and pull a mirror out of any car or truck...get some sticky tape and your good to go. If not just get a ticket. really easy fix

$100 for a fricking mirror! What about checking with a Auto glass install co. and see if they have a fit's all.

    depends on the state

Alabama may have laws concerning this whereas Washington may not

Depends on the state but I also agree that getting a ticket specifically for not having a rear view mirror is BS. Some vehicles that don't have rear windows so a rear view mirror is pointless.

In CA you're required to have at least two mirrors for rear view. So a right side view mirror is not required if you have the left side mirror & rear view mirror. According to CHP if you have rear tinted windows, you are required to have left & right side view mirrors.

i'm pretty sure in most states as long as you have side view mirrors, you do not need a rear view mirror. That's why box trucks are legal.
