Need rear suspension upgrade. No I don’t have those credentials and I salute, admire, and thank all that do. NRA sticker looks similar :)

Values have dropped on Harleys. I'm thinking about mounting some dual sport enduro tires on it and use it up on the mountain.

Market is saturated with used Harleys right now. That price seems about right

I don't know if you're joking or not, but people do it with Sportsters all the time. Dunno about a Softail though lol Check this out

I have a wheelwell page. I buy stuff from them all the time. Their thinga drop ship from all over the country and always get delivered within 2-3 days.

They are definitely making a good name for themselves

    I’m at 94600.

    Oem
    Ebc yellow stuff
    Ebc with duralast pads
    Stoptech street pack

So four sets of rotors and pads in that time frame. But, i live in the mountains, tow constantly, and drive a little “spiritedly.”

Which ones have been your favorite? I've used Centric (Stoptech) on a few different cars with good results. Had some Akebono pads once that I liked a lot.

Oem is best for anyone that doesn’t do the things I do.

But if you use a truck like a truck, i believe in putting the best brakes on it that you can afford. The quality of EBC has gone down so much that its on par with powerstop now. Powerstop’s zinc coatings are garbage. EBC used to be fantastic, but now their parts rot up something terrible, almost like powerstop stuff.

Centric has been around for a long time. Their parts are good, their coatings are fantastic, and they made such a difference when we installed them all the way around on my bother’s silverado. So stoptech/centric gets my vote.

I’d be able to give a more accurate review on the stoptechs on my truck, if my rear shoes weren’t worn out. So my pedal is rather mushy right now.

Part of the reason i got this crusty 4runner was so that i could do a bunch of work to my truck. All new oem rear brakes, (drums, shoes, spring kits/hardware, and wheel cylinders). I’ll also be doing extended stainless braided brake lines all the way around, flushing the brake fluid and remaking any lines that are more rusty than I think they should be.
That and fixing a few other small things are phase 1.

Phase 2 is 3” lift and everything to make it work smoothly. I absolutely will not tolerate noises or driveline vibes. So, i’m going to take my time a piece together my lift. UCAs, maybe LCAs, good set of coilovers, dakars with good hangers and bushings, ubolt flip with custom brackets to work with my sumo springs, etc. it’ll probably take about a year to complete.

That'd be one heavy Enduro! But with straight pipes and motocross bars one bad ass Enduro too!

That's crazy! I thought you were joking! Again, the weight alone would be hilarious!

I'd much rather convert a Buell

I wonder why the market is saturated? I guess I sold my last one at a good time then.

Recently replaced the front brake pads and front driver side caliper about two or so weeks ago. I noticed the brakes still have a tad bit of sponge in them and when I refer online it says it may be a failing brake master cylinder. Anybody got any advice?

I'll have to remember your out there Wes

I wonder if we could set up a map with pins like we have on the TW Express thread? That would be cool.

I’d never heard of them but had to check out that deal. Looks legit.

You guys were talking about a lady vendor a few weeks back that knows suspensions in and out...I looked through the thread but couldn’t dig it up. Who was that ?
