    I mean… it’s a Ford, you don’t care
I had big aspirations for that boat But lacked the time for it. I’m still so happy that you guys bought it and are getting great use out of it.

Traveling to Milbridge to do a late summer/fall cleanup for my grandparents, mostly. Grandpa's heart is currently functioning at around 10% of capacity so he gets winded walking up a flight of stairs, and Grandma's in a neck brace while she recovers from a fractured vertebrae (fell in the tub a few weeks ago). But, even before that they couldn't do much of their own 'yard stuff' or even 'house stuff' at this point. So I go up a couple of times a year with an assortment of yard/garden tools and my electrical, plumbing, and mechanical tool kits and work through their to-do lists.

Meh, it is what it is. They're both still in pretty good spirits most of the time; they've basically accepted that they're old and are determined to enjoy what they have left for time. The downside of it is that as part of enjoying what they have left, they're refusing to leave their house on the coast. So they're 3 hours away from their closest family, and their support network of friends are basically just as old and infirm as they are. :notsure:

The plus side is that their house is in a beautiful spot, set right on top of the water in what is basically their own private tidal cove. So when I go up to help them out the scenery is nice. And since they crash pretty early I usually spend the evening with a bottle of whisk(e)y and a book out on their deck on the water

Beautiful property! Did you fix the boat by the way? Or is it still eating impellers?

Seems to be fixed. I've had it out a few times since then without any issue, but now I'm checking the telltale obsessively.

alright guys. I'm hearing a sound similar to that of a rock in the tire, however...it's not rotational and only happens over bumps. Checked a couple times and nothing seems loose, nothing appears to be leaking. not sure what it is. I'll jack up the track one of these nights and check again but should I be worried? I have to tow this weekend. 1.5 hrs each way

Make sure your LCA bolts are tight, also check shock mount bolts. Can you tell if it's front or rear?

UCA bolts, shock tower bolts, caliper bolts, sway bar links. Check all those, ive seen each one of them make that kind of noise.

Nothing in the bed that would make that noise. Definitely sounds like driver side front. Gonna grab some wrenches and check things out i guess. Hopefully it stops raining soon lol

Made it home, no poppin' of tires, I think we got it down with the trailer finally.

@Noelie84 that's a nice property! Nice of you to do that for them as well. Sure you see it as the only way to do things, but a lot of people can't handle seeing people not in their prime and tend to abandon them when they are needed most. So good job! You deserve the whiskey and view!:hattip:
