Yep, Bama can't stay away from injuries when we are suppose to do "big things" in those years..

 

that's a rough one to lose. I know the O is gonna be great still, and the schedule is super duper favorable, and they've had these things happen before...but when does it catch up? hate it for the kid.

 

Yea but that makes 5 (4 starters) lost for the year. I especially hate it for Moses as a player though with all the hype and potential for some prestigious awards

 

Losing Moses really hurts. I really hate it for him, too. So much potential in that kid.

They say our offense might be the best ever. It might need to be with two freshmen starting at LB on defense.

 

Apparently, Harris was calling defense along with Moses in practices...not sure how true that is but that would make for a huge sigh of relief if he is capable to do so as a true frosh!

 

I have the feeling this may be the year the Bama dynasty wheels really start to wobble. Not falling off yet...just getting a little shakey. Injuries might start catching up to them, and a few other teams in the nation are starting to have the same amount of talent. I still expect them to win 11-12 regular season games this year, but that’s partially because the schedule says they SHOULD win that many. I just don’t think Tua will A. Stay healthy, and B. Don’t think he’s that great against the best teams they’ll play. I may be 100% wrong in all of that. I don’t really care either way, it just seems to me like things are finally starting to point that way after a decade+ run as the unquestioned best team in college football.

 

I think they will stay there, meaning top 4 team in the country, until LSU or A&M (or somebody else in the west I just think those are the best 2 with a chance) actually start playing on an even field and can then give Alabama a loss or two every season. I'm fingers crossed hoping LSU has really honestly changed on offense some this year or it'll just be the same old story, but somebody in Alabama's side of the conference has to add an additional loss to their usual story. They get beat 1 time regular season, and sometimes 1 time post season. there needs to be a 2nd game lost in the regular season to really make them "wobble". it's clear by recent years that that's what it will take for them to be considered like other teams that maybe only have 1 loss.
