    Mostly stuff I built.
85,000 miles and some change on the clock. Had the differential howl that was fixed under warranty early on. Had to have a power steering pump replaced at around 80k for the shaft seal leaking (this leak is what most think is the front cover leaking). Other than that I have driven and worked the shit out of the truck. I have 30-40k miles of dirt roads and off-roading on the truck as I work out of it on my side job. I tow with it 2-4 days a week. Haul around a welding machine in the bed about half the time. Truck has been great. The more you use the transfer case and rear locker the faster they engage I’ve noticed by the way.

Agreed, safety and driveability items are very important but I'm also not gonna get bent out of shape over two plastic parts that rub together making a tiny squeak that I normally can't hear over my radio.

105K on my 2016 TRD Sport. Just routine maintenance so far (oil changes and tires). I put the frame plugs in to solve the whistling and I hate how the auto trans shifts. Had a high temp issue and found the reservior empty and filled it so it is fine now.
Getting a leftover 2019 or new 2020 soon.

Oh ok. My truck was in not too long ago for this exact issue. They stated the front rotors were warped. Resurfaced them and it seemed to correct the problem about 80%. It still seems to be there but not nearly as noticeable. Ill give the e-brake method a shot and see what I find. Thanks.

2019 Limited. Just turned 800 miles. Had to have rear axles replaced right out of the gate. I don't see much difference. Still a vibration while braking. Has a slight shimmy at higher speeds also. I drive in S4 in town now, and S6 on the highway. D is too damn frustrating with the constant shifting. Only averaging about 18 mpg so far.

I love the look of the truck and all the options of the Limited package (entune sucks). However, I hate driving it. I know it is a truck and isn't going to ride like a Caddy. But, it is rough. My Dakota I had for 11 years rode like a dream compared to this truck. Hopefully, things smooth out. My first Tacoma.

43k miles in my 2017. I have the grey cloth seats and they are already discolored from rain, mud, snow and anything else that has made their way onto them while being in the outdoors. I'll likely snag some black seat OEM covers eventually

40k and my diff is still howling away back there. The fluid was clean with no metal in it at 37k when I dumped it out so maybe they are right when they say "it's a characteristic of the vehicle".

    2019, 17k
Diff howl (screams) - told normal by engineer
    Hood glue failure - fixed
Rear upper door seal glue failure -fixed
Rear drums warped from factory- fixed
    Intermittent long crank/flood (not solved)
    Tailgate bushing fell out
    Battery leaked - replaced
Clutch stick when cold - not solved
Engine stumbles/ ruh ruh ruh below 2k - told normal (gotta get me that OVtune)
A/C drain hose somehow fell into the cab and pissed on my floor - fixed
Wheel well cover pushpins fell out - fixed
Headlights & entire front end loose - told normal
Wind noise from every door - told normal
A/C started to stink first month i used it - told by engineer to never use recirc - though i had 240k on my gmc with no issues.... their chemical didnt fix the smell - going to try some bleach soon

damn thing always pulls right - told normal
And most recently, shocks did not hold up to Mojave Road

Basically — i’m gonna have to play engineer and fix a bunch of stuff myself that should have been put together better from factory.

My brother-in-law is an engineer, and upon seeing all the loose stuff in the front end/ under the hood, especially for an off-road vehicle that will suffer vibrations - he wondered if the interns designed it

Of note, i was previously a mechanic, so, literally trained to notice problems

We take the truck everywhere. She has a new Maxima we take on longer trips. I'm 45 miles round-trip to work. The last thing I'm worried about is a powertrain warranty on a Toyota.

Its 90 degrees out, you know what that means. For those that want to downplay it, this is while driving so there's some road noise as well to drown it out some. Recorded from the cup holder but it's just as loud anywhere in the cab. Just greased it in June, time for another.

17 SR5 has 40k on her. No issues. I drive it fairly hard but detail it monthly pretty thoroughly. Looks new yet and it's paid off. I do have an itch to into a full size though.

2019 - purchased new in Jan this year...29K miles (approx 8-10K off road).
Other than normal 5K maint here is what is on my receipts:
11K : Update PCS Software and apply sealer (repair A) KOB Recall (not even sure what that is).
20K: punctured rear tire ...we own a horse farm on a river - and I ran over something by the river that cut the tire (probably sharp rocks).

I've had no major complaints - and would say on a scale of 1-10, this truck is a 9 1/2 for MY lifestyle. The interior color is my only real dislike and it is not a big deal (I hate the color black/grey). I'm looking at buying some of the tan Carhart seat covers, but have not decided yet - I need rugged and the brand is not what it use to be. I hear the "howl" in the rear but honestly would not have noticed it had I not seen it on this forum...I hope it does not cause me trouble but I did ask the dealership and made them aware of it. I do not expect/demand a lot other than 1. Decent comfortability back and forth to my office (120 miles round trip) , 2. Overall dependability and 3. Off road capabilities (around our farm/river) ....on those 3 points - so far - this truck is awesome! I have a ton of scratches and dings on my truck from driving along our trails, and THAT is a HUGE reason I like this vehicle. The size of this truck is wonderful! We have UTVs/ATVs and this truck goes most places they do (assuming you don't mind scratching the paint).
