LOL. Yeah, turned out to be a pretty good day. The kids actually behaved and listened for the most part.

 

Thats great. Enjoy them, you will not believe how fast they will grow and in a blink are off on their own.

 

My oldest has his first unofficial day of kindergarten tomorrow. Taking him for about 45 minutes - meet the teacher, meet his classmates, and go for a bus ride. Then his first official day is Thursday. I'm getting too old too fast. Me no likey.

LOL!!!! I've already had it trimmed once... definitely going to trim it again a few more times before the wedding that I'm growing it for in December.

And thanks for the compliment. Really appreciate it. The Mrs and I try. Sometimes she's the one more involved, others I am since she's a school teacher herself. It's a balancing act, but has to be done. Gotta be involved and show them that you love them and support them.

Not gonna lie though.. I'm scared shitless of this new "challenge". I felt overwhelmed today when I took him in for his meet and greet. I think the part that freaks me out the most is the whole bus thing. I don't know why, but it does.

Personally I think he'll do well in the school environment. He's been in daycare since he was 15 months old, so he's used to the "daily routine" of getting up early and "going to school". And this last year at daycare it was kinda like pre-k, and I think he did really well in it according to daycare, so I think he'll be fine in school. Only time will tell I guess. I get to put him on the bus tomorrow and Friday, and then off the bus both days as well. Then, next week, we'll do a before school program thing because of what time the Mrs and I have to be at work, and what time he starts school. We're lucky that my in-laws are retired so they'll come to my house and take him off the bus.

WOW... time fucking flies. I can't believe he's starting school tomorrow. Felt just like yesterday I was at the hospital with the Mrs, to be induced so he could be born. FUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm about to start crying.
