    I agree completely.

I can’t even bring myself to do that. I’d only want her going to someone I know or trust. She’s been in the family since she was a pup and she’s 11 now.

She’s been blocked by electric fence before and it didn’t stop her. That’s my dilemma. Idk if it’s even possible to actually stop her without being cruel.

@stronghammer does she have a place in or outside the house that is “hers” a bed, crate, kennel, rug, etc?

Also with the electric fences and shock collars there is a training procedure that you have to go through with them. Sometimes more than once. I had to go through it almost 5 times with a husky before he stopped getting out. That was 6 months of training almost every day of walking him on lead up to the boundary and getting shocked. Doing it over and over. Now he won’t go within 3 ft of the boundary.

she has a bed she sleeps on that she likes, but she really only sleeps there because it's in the bedroom and she doesn't sleep in the bed like Oscar does. She sleeps on the couch, in the floor, wherever, just in a room that I'm in.

She used to be a fulltime outside dog when she lived with my sister, they got her when she was like 4 weeks old and basically just tossed her and her brother in the backyard and gave them no training or attention besides food. I believe she has PTSD from storms living outside as she only ever had a pole barn to go stand underneath when she was a puppy. I'm not kidding when I say if she hears thunder, the arsenal tests, or even the garbage truck being loud she flips shit and has to be like underneath something or tucked right up against you.

Poor pup. We treat our dogs like our own kids. We love our doggies! They don't want for nothing!

that's how I am man, even with her who I dislike lol. she's a great dog, just "damaged" and kinda a pain. she doesn't like to play and she doesn't get along with other female dogs at all. she just wants to be pet occasionally and be given food and a place to sleep comfortably. she's just really inconvenient for me sometimes.

Alright, if I can figure out and finally solve the keeping Sophie in the fence issue...which is the plan tonight....to whatever extent I have to go to...

then I'm going to sell all of my gym stuff from home. weird if-then situation there....if dog stays then no gym lol

I should probably sell it anyways because my motivation to work out there just sucks....

any of you have any interest in home gym stuff, I'll offer it up to you guys first...

see the picture, I don't have the two benches marked out but I have a bowflex not pictured.

give me enough time to sit and think and I'll eventually own an actual gym lol.

if you follow my train of thought:

need more equipment to enjoy a good workout at home....equipment is too expensive....option 2....go back to a gym...free gym at work...too much time leaving dogs alone....can't leave dogs outside....make it so I can....can go to gym at work....sell home gym.

so need more equipment at home equals sell home gym.

lol can guarantee that won't be the case at the Boeing gym. also no photo taking allowed since it's on Boeing property so no cool mirror selfies. will literally only be there to get a good workout

yes, because there are bugs around that will hear it.

for something to be a sound, it has to be heard, and other things can hear besides humans.

maybe animals or something too, who knows...but I guarantee you aren't going to have a tree fall in a forest and a bug not be near enough to hear it lol
