Can you start at 0400 and be gone by noon ? No one is awake at 0400 that doesn't have to be and most are preoccupied waiting on lunch so you would not be noticed if you weren't there

Seen a lot of that when I first retired from the Navy and was in the field working pretty much every vertical market out there. Where I landed almost 20 years ago with this "cushy" sit down gig that song is not an option. Make a plan and stay the course.

Both of the Prod and both Dev\TST mainframes are out the door Jan. 1 and most the people have retired or .5 until Jan or have been relocated. Original plan vendor fell through, was blowing smoke but there was a backup plan. Just wasn't sure who was going to support it and in the end we will. Still text overlay on greenbar, COLD to me, some of my team that I am the Tech Spec for has never seen greenbar before...

In 3 years conversion of the millions of documents to images will be done and it will be SaaS and in the cloud where we are pushing as much as we can. Right around the time I do my second and final retirement

They will not put your face in Google and it takes them a long time to go through the film to clean it up. I checked for months. Hey you're late to the party

If my dump truck was fixed I'd be doing 0400-1400 (10's). But I've been working somewhere between 0500-1630 depending on what's going on. Sometimes I have to talk to the vendors and other bs. I still go to the field but have to be flexible so that means during other people's business hours.
