All this shit weather up north and we have been drier than a 80 yr old womans cooter. Normally we get daily thunder storms this time of year. We were off to the normal yearly start but then it dried up and we havent had any rain in a couple weeks now.
I got the feels for all y'all up north though, i cant imagine anything worse to have to deal with than flooding and fucking 'nado's!! I know, I had a tornado rip through my construction project and knocked a bunch of CMU walls, metall stud walls, etc. and that was a mini compared to what y'all get.
    Stay safe.

Finally made it over to our Oklahoma cabin and back. Man the water is/was high...up to the Interstate at Cadron Creek, Lee Creek, Webbers Falls, Muskogee.

The tornado went 1/4 West to 1/4 North of our place, just broken tree tops and a few up rooted, but no structural damage. All cut and piled for several good fall bonfires. Our North 40 got hit harder, but just some 4 wheeler trails are blocked, they can wait til cooler temps to cleanup.

Following the path, it's a miracle and blessing no homes were seriously damaged, and no reports of injuries. As usual, tornados do strange things...peoples homes lost some tin and 50 yards away the barn is destroyed. Trees broken and uprooted all around a neighbors new home they're building...not a dented shingle or broken window pane.

Edit: General path of tornado and width of major tree damage. Blue dot is our cabin...

I wish we could bring some of that severe weather over here to AZ. We've got fires and they're predicting the Monsoons won't start for another month. Yall can keep the tornado's, we'll just take the rain and wind.

Seems like it’s been awhile since that part of Florida took a direct hit like that. Hopefully they are prepared

Been a damn long time since we've had a direct hit.

Other than filling up my 6 gas cans, I pretty much stay prepared year round.

I'm at the blue dot. The outer bands are ball busters. I just hope the bitch doesn't slow down. A stalled tropical storm can do more damage than a fast moving hurricane.

I think this is the same app. How do you get the forecasted track up on it? I can’t seem to find it.

When you pay for the app with no ad's there's an option to pay something like .99 for the sever weather alerts.

Sucks that it comes in handy sometimes.

I’m in Stuart as well... still lots of time before we know where it hits and these things can and do move a LOT in very little time.

Have been through plenty of these so not worried, just anxious on where it makes landfall

This one got bad fast. I went to Publix Tuesday to pick up some crackers, and bought a couple extra cases of water. Shelf's were full and I never saw anyone else getting any.

Today "Wednesday" I was like...what the fuck!

I always keep about a months supply on hand year round, except for gas. I thought I'd fill my 5 gas cans up tomorrow, but decided to do it this evening. Went to 3 stations before I found one with gas. Damn glad I didn't wait till tomorrow.

Only thing I need to pick up is some chips and candy. During Irma I'd gave $50 for a fucking candy bar.

Gonna get up and do yard work, put my patio furniture up, and hang the storm panels tomorrow, and pray for the best.
