Any woodworkers?

To turn on my closet light you have to go into the master bathroom and turn on the vanity light. It’s pretty convenient.

 

Too bad you don't know a GC that can find a competent electrical sub to get that fixed for you.

 

I’m slowly undoing everything the previous owner did. We need stricter background checks for home ownership.

 

Or better building codes.

My dad and I built a coffee table. We got the legs off of an old pool table.

 

I binge watch Holmes on Homes, but I don't pretend to be a GC. I have learned some things from him, but I would never pretend to be something I'm not.

 

I rented a house that the deck was sloppy, I was scared to walk on it by myself much less with 2 or more people on it...its still standing though...its rickety as all get out and 2' or more on center spacing in some spots with no stringer hangers...and most of it is 10-12' wide out from the house...

 

hes the same guy that wired all the outlets and lights into 15amp breaker for the shop...

 

Picked up this gem awhile back for cheap. Finally need to make some molding for my cabinets so setting up both planer in-line so I can use the dewalt as a power feed.

 

Test run and made 30 lf of crown molding. I’m liking the results

He can be pretty arrogant at times. Especially in his new shows.

 

I agree he comes across that way but at other times he really appears to be quite humble. And he does seem to enjoy helping people out. Sometimes I think he is just bored with the whole speech thing about educating people how to do things right. I mean how many times can you say the same thing in a different way?

 

Exactly. Though, I would like to know how the renovations he does are paid for.
