That is a very reasonable price. Some 2wd PreRunners from around the same model years still go for $20k and over with around the same amount of miles

This all seems too good to be true. Make sure it's not a reconstructed title.

Maybe the price is so low because 2wd's in Maryland don't sell very well? If it's all legit OP I'd jump on it

    Oh it’s a 2wd?

damn I might try to wiggle them down then.

mine is a 4WD. Given California inflation our prices match up if it was a 4x4.

Oh, I assumed it was 4x4 but it might make more sense that it's a PreRunner for the price.

Ouch. I guess this is the new norm when people think $14000 for a vehicle with 149000 is a good deal.

    this isn’t a Hyundai we’re discussing as I’m sure you’re aware.

The truck is in great shape but for a 2WD I’d get them lower.

I know there doesnt seem to be any rust issues but there are years of wear and tear, parts wearing out, an engine with 149000 that may or may not last another 10000 miles or 100000. There is also depreciation. Its not my money to throw away like that but I would rather see this guy buy that truck at a more realistic much lower price. Id say dont be in a hurry. Take your time and I think you will do a lot better if you wait and buy something else. Also remember when people sell a vehicle more often than not something is wrong with it. If this truck is at a dealership dont believe anything they tell you and they will have a big mark up on what they gave for that truck. Look for collision and flood damage as well. Good luck.

We all also need to understand that Tacoma’s can vary in price depending on region.

As someone previous stated, a Tacoma with that mileage and year (if it were a 4x4) would be listed for $17,000-$20,000 here in California.

Are you sure you dont want a 4X4 truck? Lots of guys on here say they are good with 4x2, then have regrets.
