For the those that purchased the these kits with the bolt n open bracket along with the DSIM Solutions Opener Module , Here are some helpful pointers for installing the actuator and bracket kit .

1 - Once your inside the gate start off by removing the passenger side tailgate rod and the orange clip on the passenger side latch . Make sure you install the tailgate rod the same way you removed it .
    48660CC3-A434-488B-9561-3C9EA9DAA288.jpg

2- Have the bolt n open assembly as shown with the actuator in the current position .

    38172B0F-B09A-4E8C-9143-5CABA4BB534C.jpg 2FE4CA02-FCDC-4E3C-82A8-582A10FF7209.jpg

3-Slide in the complete assembly with the actuator connector rod on top of the passenger side latch . Use the supplied lock nuts to bolt on the bracket to the passenger side latch . You need to use a t-30 to hold the latch bolt while tightening the 13 mm lock nut on the inside .
    1AE47993-FAB3-43E5-9C0F-853D79BEF724.jpg 1E6B4E2F-47C3-4575-AECE-F3E385700ECA.jpg BA8DAF87-82F8-43F5-A9F0-91A42D06C07B.jpg 9A87746E-221E-4204-B48E-E93416284AA0.jpg
4- Reinstall the tailgate rod in the same position as removed , making sure it’s clipped in the handle and the center support .
    47E72EAB-041D-4052-99F5-D0A9DEFDF88C.jpg

5- Step 5 is the most important . In the hardware bag you will find two flat plush on nuts . You only need one but there is a extra Incase you lose one or really screw one up . These two nuts should look like so right out of the bag .

    2CB9CABF-A291-48B3-945B-452E3F8F0D1D.jpg

To currently use these nuts you need to use a good pair of pliers and flatten the teeth down just enough where it’s hard to push on the end of the tailgate rod . When your done they should look like this .
    E25C8791-AF56-442C-AA15-DF1FEE503A08.jpg

Make sure you test that it is on tight and won’t come off .

    https://youtu.be/3U7Orfa1VdQ

It might seem strange to use this on the end of the rod but from testing once it’s installed right it holds and doesn’t back off after multiple uses .

    ADEBC203-D9E3-4F2F-A4FA-866284341E47.jpg

6- You are now 100 percent done with the bolt n open bracket kit . It should look like this when finished .

I got the button and DSIM Module ordered. I have your complete kit. So I need the opener harness and the new plug in harness. Another actuator. And opener bracket and bar.. I think that’s it. Unless there’s a harness for the button switch.

Sounds like you have the tailgate lock kit and need the Bolt n lock add on package listed in post #1967 up above .

I have to say my man, the flat ones are so much better than the prototypes :D Thank You for making it happen with the flat ones for me. Much appreciated. It allowed me to keep my Orange OEM Clip. Serious OCD Problems o_O but they had to stay matching!

@KTJO 4x4 I was able to install my tailgate lock setup but I have an issue where the passenger side front window will not operate. I put things back, where the T-harness hooks up at, things work fine. Reinstall the T harness, window operation does not function. I double checked the pins on either side of the harness if the pins could be seated incorrectly but I dont see anything out of the ordinary. Any thoughts on my issue?

Did you do a continuity check on all pins?

    NEW PACKAGE:

Bolt-N-Open Add-On Package (Actuator, BNO, PNP, Integrated Harness)
PRICE: $115 (FREE SHIPPING LOWER 48)

I noticed that I had a Kit Option for just the Bolt-N-Lock, I had one for the Complete Full Lock Package, and the Complete Opener Package (which includes BNL & BNO), but I did not have one for just the Bolt-N-Open Package. So now you have it!!! I think that completes the packages.

I got my hands on a meter and will try to test later this afternoon. I'm thinking that specific wire for the window operation might be bad, but will try to confirm that. Would you happen to know which pin location that is on the harness to help speed things up for me when testing? Instead of doing a continuity test on all the pins in the harness since this is only issue i have at the moment.

Question - Can someone confirm whether the end of the bracket is designed to have a slight angle?

@KTJO 4x4 I did a continuity test and all the wires check out from what I can tell. I unwrapped the wires and did notice on one side the wires are not positioned in the same location from one side to the other. This harness is a a direct connection meaning the pin 1 goes to 1, 2 goes 2, etc yes? It just has leads for the actuator.

I just looked at mine, and yes the wires go straight across... Pin 1 to 1, Pin 2 to 2, and so on.
