I can't wait for the 4th gens to come out and then the 3rd genners will be happy to jump into the "4th gen probs" jokes hahaha

i'll have to climb the ladder and coat them with poison.

when it gets cold enough I've got some wasp nests to take care of too, but right now they're not hurting me, just do not like them at all.

2nd and 3rd gens have bedside spread.

    bed stiffeners made.

installed on 2nd gens, fixes problem.

installed on 3rd gens, doesn't fix problem.

    3rd gens suck. <----------THE POINT

My 3rd gen doesn't suck, there are a lot out there that do, but mine doesn't. I love mine! Now I just have to test to see if mine will smoke on an incline...

lol I know I was just taking an opportunity with the thread presented to make fun of 3rd gens again.

honestly if you take away the smoking problem, the massive grill, the price tag, the...where was I going with this?

oh, I'd like to have an FJ.

And plus, I don't have all these problems that I read about the 3rd gens. Engine/tranny hunting gears? Those owners just didn't drive their trucks correctly to teach the habits to the ECU. Mine runs, shifts and operates normally and I'm happy with how mine runs!

Oh I know man.... I almost bought an FJ instead of my Silver Mica one back in 06. I needed a bed, so I just went with the Taco. I would have been fine with the FJ as well.

ADEM came on site yesterday for a suprise inspection of our NPDES permits and to inspect our outfalls. Needless to say, we passed with flying colors, due to my great organizational and management skills....:D The president of the company gave me an "atta boy" in front of all the other managers of the plant...

I've decided that I'm just adding a mild 2" lift on my my 3rd gen and moving up a tire size to 265/70/17s and mainly drive it on the road. I have bigger plans for my 2nd gen though, UC arms, rear leaf packs, coilovers and 285s. But really, it's gonna be a slow build...

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!

One of my friends had his English bulldog in the back of his truck riding through the national forest one time. He heard something and jumped out of the back of the truck and landed on his neck. The jump killed the dog.

I have been against dogs in the back of the truck since that.

That's terrible. Yeah, if my dogs are riding in the bed, they'll be in their crates, strapped down real good.

Where in GA are you? If you're going to ATR, can you pick up a skid set from SOS? Too good of a deal, 15% off and a TW express!
