    Let's face it, the coils are not the cost driver on Kings. If the give away were to come with 600lb'ers, I'd pay the $$ to get 700lb'ers, which I believe, is what is stock on the Sport anyway and just feels good without the sway bar.

    I'm no expert on the matter, but you know how when McDonalds runs a promotion, such as the Monopoly game? They always state that purchase is not required and you can mail in for free entries or game pieces... they do this, because running a lottery like you are, is not legal. You as an individual cannot run a lottery, unless the proceeds are for charity, and even then, you may need some special registrations or oversight. Additionally, you may be selling to individuals who are under 18 years old and not allowed to gamble.

    Again, I'm no expert, but I'd personally tread lightly on this attempt at promoting your business.

    Additionally, how are you "randomly" selecting a winner? Is there any oversight to this process, to make sure your wife, friend, brother, dog, etc doesn't win?

    I was looking at this as a raffle? Are those ruled differently than a lottery? IDK.


    The funny part is that sometimes I will try the Amazon Giveways since they are free other than the wasted time watching the same videos. I know that I have less of a chance winning something there than an actual lottery. :p

    I think this further drives my point. If you can't trust a multi-billion dollar company with a ton of oversight and protocols... then I'm less likely to trust Bill in his garage, pulling names out of a hat. I have no dog in this fight, I'm not entering into this "raffle", I'm just offering a word of caution to people who might be entering and to OP. Fortunately, it's only $10 and ideally, individuals are getting $10 worth of product, so even if this goes sideways, it's not the worst thing in the world.

    No expert either, but there was a group on a social media platform a few years back that essentially sold pictures of a prize and along with that picture, you were essentially entered in a raffle. One of the people that purchased said picture received the item with that picture.

    My point is, would this be legal if OP included a "picture" or ticket with every purchase of $10 or more. Include said picture or ticket with every item on his website and you're not only buying a phone mount, but a chance to win as well.
