I saw one in person for the first time. It looks much better on the internet than in person. Made me love my Tacoma even more!

It looks badass. A tricked out V6 regular cab lifted and armored would be badass for the trails

There truly is nothing better than a good accessory. Look no further than a pair of statement-making earrings or the perfect work tote to see what I mean. And the accessories don’t just stop at personal fashion. You can accessorize your 2020 Jeep Gladiator, which apparently many people have taken to, and with gusto.

Buyers are spending an average of $1,000 accessorizing their Gladiators, reports Automotive News. This beats out Wrangler buyers, who typically spend about $800. From the story:

Kim Mathers, Mopar’s head of performance and accessories, said Gladiator buyers are adding off-road tools such as lift kits and protective rock rails.

More than 90 percent of Mopar products were available at dealerships at launch. Mopar credits this preparation for the Gladiator’s accessory surge.

Gladiator add-ons center on truck functionality, lifestyle accessories and off-road capability. Mopar has steel-tube doors for those who want an open-air feel. Other options include military-grade LED lights and racks for bikes and surfboards.

Mathers said Mopar plans to offer more accessories and performance parts. With the Gladiator in consumer hands, Mathers said the company is paying attention to how people are modifying their vehicles.

$45,000 is the starting point for the Gladiator Rubicon.

If I ordered one, it would be MUCH more. Here is the one with the options I would select...

No way I’d pay that. Too fucking expensive.

I thought the hole idea of the Jeep design was ugly yet functional. Function over form if you will. Likening back to the Korean war Willys where they had fold down windshields so you could shoot at the enemy unencumbered, flat sheet metal dash boards with the bar minimum of controls or gauges, no roll bar and hard seats supported by springs. You could give quite a few foot solders a ride sitting on the hood, and stuffed in the back.

Nope its a bedside 1968 Jeep Gladiator. The one from the second movie was custom.

    Edit: Missread post.

At least the Old Gladiator and Comache looked good. This one looks like its got some weird tumor growing.

Not a Gladiator, but I had one of these back in the 70's. I'd take it over the new version any day

    Love my Tacoma and Rubicon.
Until Toyota engineer's wise up, I'll take my F/R lockers, sway bar disco and manual t-case, 35's with no mods, doors off, top down.

I'll be looking at JT Rubicons next year.
