    Still stock completely capable!

Watch this video till 1:14. Scotty tells all! Even thou Tacobella argues till he passes out that there is no extra strain from a turbo there is! If ranger had come out with a N/A option and Manual they would have done a lot better!

Someone mentioned that the turbo 4 is the only engine option on the Ranger. While still working at the Ford dealership mechanics were saying that engine is junk. Eco-boost they called it. Turbos were going out on them just about time for the warranty to expire leaving owners stuck with $4000 repairs. That is on all Eco-boost engines. I know the Ranger is new but like the rest its time will come. Pass on the Ranger Rapter. $75000 for a F150 Rapter. I drove them to. Not impressed with anything Ford. Stick with your Toyota's.

I know someone with one of those. It cannot be killed.

Also, my other truck is a frontier. Underrated truck imo, especially if you like things simple.

The last of the good ones I guess. Low drama trucks that service companies like to use in their fleets.

Though I'm hearing, unlike the popular next gen rumors, it will still have leaf springs. Engine will be a 3.0L 300 HP. Looks like it might get a variant of the VR30 -- possibly with turbo option and a Jatco 7 speed auto that is already in use today. More aluminum driveshafts. No new development platform required. Face lift to look more like the other V-motion line up. It would be easy for them to play the engine and transmission performance card while being the lowest cost player at the table.

    Fresh gas.

    I like frontiers too!

If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Frontier is a solid truck, in my opinion! Too bad sales are low, would be nice for Nissan to become a little more mainstream!

And the much anticipated return of the Bronco will be the Ranger minus the bed. Junk.

I don't mind the Nissan. Interior is a little cheap though. But otherwise solid truck without the wiz bang electronics.

But can they out-fail Chevy's rework of the Blazer?

Something tells me the new bronco will be based on the ranger platform.

The only thing I don't like about mine is that it's too long (crew cab, long bed) and it's not 4x4. Both of those things are my fault.

But it is dead reliable and has the 6MT with the 4.0. It also holds the top speed record on my GPS after passing some cars in West Texas.... :burnrubber:

One can never have too many light bars.
Ranger should have been a hit with the fleet buyers too. But i think a bare bones single cab F150 doesn't have a much higher starting price and is much more capable.

Fleet sales were the main moneymaker with the old ranger, the frontier took that too.

I've had horrible, evil thoughts of swapping one of those 4.0s into my taco. The little thing moves pretty good with a 3rz and 4.30 gears. But what would happen with 75% more hp and 58% more torque? And could I afford new tires every other week?

Just look at that ridiculous stance, high bed and short roof. Awful.

Someone mentioned it above, but at 5'11, I cannot reach over the bed rail and grab a tool from the bottom of the bed.

I will not be owning a ranger anytime soon -

    1.) I love my Tacoma
    2.) no MT
3.) only 1 engine available, which unfortunately it is a turbo 4-banger
4.) basic numbers (hp, torque, performance etc..) do not blow the competition out of the water
    5.) Anemic interior
6.) Ugly ass exterior, sorry to spend 30K, I want it to look some what decent - Ford fucked this up big time
    7.) Terrible usable interior storage
8.) For the money get a full size

Why is anyone besides surprised they have shit sales numbers - well besides bella taco fella and that kamille.biden fella :proposetoast:

The new Bronco is supposed to be Body on Frame so I don't see how they could possibly outfail that awful Blazer
