Lol yeah the real bummer about this trip is that when it’s over I have to go back to real life and get a job and buy a house :(

It's all good I admire you two for what you are doing. This year our vacation to Utah was our first since 2007. If you get close to Georgia the North Georgia mountains are a great place to visit and camp out in.

Mad respect for making this trip happen!

If you make it down to Georgia in December let me know. I would love to catch up with you and show you the scenic route down to the Alabama coast, maybe even hop on the boat and do a little off shore fishing.

Exactly this. Go out west and travel slowly. If you’re in MI now, take Route 66 West—like the actual business Route 66, not all the interstates

So I def will do rt 66 but I’m planning to do it on our way back east. Right now I’m trying to hit the northern states before it gets to cold. Spending the weekend in Chicago with friends and then heading back into Wisconsin and then Minnesota and west from there.

Orange beach, AL. We get a pretty bad wrap down here in the south, but in reality it’s awesome. Definitely worth checking out. We have some great camping and wheeling here as well. Especially in the winter months when you are planning on being down this way. It’s not uncommon to get some 70 degree temps in December.

I’ll make sure to make it down there. I love Alabama. My dad has heart surgery in Huntsville last year so I spent a few days there. Nicest people I ever met. Must be that southern hospitality
