    What Gives ???

This sticker is displayed on my drivers door. It's just a Base SR5 with Tow Pkg. Will the addition of the tow pkg reduce the load carrying capacity?

You have a payload sticker on the drivers door. Something was added to the truck that added 7 lbs to the curb weight and reduced payload by 7 lbs. I have no idea what it could have been. It is probably some law that the correct payload is stated, but wouldn't worry about 7 lbs. 70 lbs might matter.

You also have a GVWR. The truck is weighed when it comes off the assembly line. That weight is subtracted from GVWR to determine payload. By the time people buy trucks and add tool boxes, caps, bed covers, and add the other gear they keep inside them the listed payload is optimistic anyway. It is best to actually weigh your truck as you drive it and subtract that number from GVWR to determine your true payload.

Ya not really concerned. Probably going to rip the sticker off anyway. Just that it was kinda strange that someone felt the need to inform of a 7 lb reduction? Still can't really figure out where this came from? Sure I got the Premium Floor Mats, Splash Guards and Tow Pkg (already dealer installed). But I wouldn't think that those things would justify the sticker ???

    Maybe it's the chrome badges?
