dude! I am like the spitting image here (except for the Mrs.) been trying to take the best care of my rather expensive (at the time) small truck for 22+ years now. always parked it in the far-away stalls at the grocery store, movies and top level of garage at the Mall (when that was the thing to do before the online shopping rage never have to leave the house to shop now! ) but also got some good exercise with the longer walks
I was filling up yesterday at the Shell station and a guy from Chicago that was passing through thought it looked nice and made me a five figure cash offer, said he missed the 1st gen he had long time ago in Chicago that split on the mechanics lift :( and he was unaware that was going to happen like i think a ton of people did about 10yrs ago, including me I was not informed at all.

Alright.. 7 minute skid swap turned into 30 with a rounded bolt head... bingo bango done... FYI TRD Off Road skid is the same on the TRD SPORT. Only difference is the 2nd piece. The Sport only has 1 (the front)

5 extra hp on the skewp!
The skewp brings up the off road difficulty on mall speed bumps. No joke it’s a few extra inches blocking the front end of the hood. That’s why it’s on “PRO’s”.
As you can see downtown Seattle is no joke! lol

Got my supreme suspensions leveling kit earlier this week! My EMS director said I'm good to use our spare ambu bay to try and mount them tonight. Anyone know the coil size/diameter for the tool? Looking to borrow or purchase a coil tool... Friend is going to try and help out. Anything I NEED to know? Least if something goes wrong I'm there for a 24 and already have access to first aid XD

I'm enjoying northern Wisconsin tonight! I'm getting ready to do some scouting for the camping trip tomorrow morning.

I'm really starting to like this part of the state!

    Thanks!

I'm at a smaller campground. Bagley Rapids. There were only a few left this afternoon and the whole place is non-reservable.

    Definitely enjoying the cool weather!

    Nice! Easy setup!
Setting up and taking down a tent a few weeks ago was a task.

I haven’t done it in a dozen years. I got My wife on board with the idea of a ‘17-‘20 travel trailer. I’ve been looking at ones between 1,800-3,000lbs. Wife, kid, adult children, grandkids and a dog. Looking at a mobile command center! Lol

My plan? Pull into a National Park, drop the trailer, and head out exploring . After the day lay down in the queen size bed. Everyone I’ve seen was $10k-$15k. Seems reasonable.

There's a lot of great lightweight travel trailer options out there, as long as you don't mind spending money. I'm hoping to get one myself in a few years.

Good call keeping the weight around 3K. These mini-trucks are great vehicles. But, they're definitely not suitable for serious towing.

They work pretty well if you keep the speed down. That will be a challenge for you!

Still avg 21.9 mpg over the last month. Fast or slow it all washes out in the end. Towing 11mpg

Took awhile but it was a success. 2" front 1.5 rear. The bed is loaded with tools so it's a bit weighted down right now. Anyways tires later this week hopefully. Gearing up for that camping trip!!!
