2020 Tacoma TRD PRO allocation

Just received my spec sheet for the PRO I had put a deposit on. MSRP $47,840.00 with no options. Just to give an idea of the price increase after the changes. Dealer said should be in by the end of Oct in San Antonio.

Auto and no snorkel?

 

The increase is somewhat justified with the new LED headlights, sequential turn signals, newly designed and lighter weight alloy wheels, revised suspension calibration, power adjustable drivers seat, Apple Car Play, larger screen, revised transmission calibration, etc.

Its that high because of all the stuff that's standard - the LED headlights, premium package, advanced tech, etc. I'd expect lower trims to have a base MSRP closer to that of the 19's, with individual owners driving up the price based on the options he or she selects.

 

I have LED’s on my other car. City driving no real advantage, however rural driving LED’s help a lot. LED’s will be old technology in a few years. Europe has laser lights, big upgrade over LED’s. USA will see this technology once approved by the federal government. Toyota is a little late to the game with their LED’s. Technology marches forward.
