I'm not here to blast anyone just posting my experience so far...I emailed OV tune a over a week+ not asking some basic questions about the turbo kit and still haven't heard back. I know they received my email because no got there automated response with the average response time I should expect to see. Now I get they are doing R N D but over a week later and still nothing. I'm sure there are people on here who have great experiences but based on this they have lost a customer. I dealt with a similar situation when I purchased a turbo kit for my Mazda 3 years ago from a company out in California and it was a terrible experience. No not the same company but it started off in a similar manner and as the old saying goes you get wiser with time...

We have posted, messaged, emailed, facebooked etc etc etc an endless amounts of time that when all information is ready, it will be posted. We are not replying to individual inquiries / asking to put deposits/ preorders/ etc etc etc.

If anyone emails us regarding the turbo kit or S/C kit asking for more info, price, pre-order, etc it is very unlikely that you will get a reply. All information will be here, and on our site, and blog posts when released, as it should be. AND THEN we will take individual inquiries.

Funny thing is I read all 179 pages of this tread and it didn't answer my questions. I don't use Facebook or social media..so my bad for wanting information about an upcoming product. I didn't ask to put down a deposit. But apparently I'm not worth your time and customers don't mean anything. It's ironic you did seem to respond though immediately to an individual comment when it gave you a bad name. Also a suggestion would be to add a simple comment to the auto response.." we are not currently responding to questions regarding products in development or about our FI kits. But as previously stated you have lost a customer over simply being a douche.

No I am not being a douche it just honestly gets old with Tacoma folks feeling entitled and then post like you do when they don't get what they ask for. "I didn't get a response, therefore lost customer."
You have not even given us the chance to provide all of our information to everyone publicly yet.

Isn't it though? There isn't even a final product release/announcement. It's still in development.

    See below...

You could just have easily posted your questions here too. There is a lot of good info and discussion that goes on despite the noise.

    Right. Majority are awesome people...

How can we provide support to a product we haven't even published all of the information about? We're still in testing, tuning, power limits, safety testing phase...

I'm sure when the product is finished it will be awesome. Expecting a response is not entitlement it's called customer service. Shit at the very least it's having a little respect for people. If your not ignoring your emails it means you had to open it and go...it's related to a turbo kit...not responding. How hard is it to add a generic we are not accepting inquires due to high volume of request and the product not being finished we are not taking request at this time. My time is just as important as yours is....the support comes from you not be able to answer questions while in development. If you don't have time to respond I can only imagine what it will be like when people receive the kits. Your in box will blow up. I wish you luck.

Why does one douche make it look like the rest of us are assholes too. If you can't read and follow the information that's already provided, good riddance. How can you expect a small company like ovtune to answer every single question for something that is still being developed? I'm sure you are a joy for most companies you interact with. I would imagine you have many "bad" experiences. Patience is a virtue most do not have anymore.

Speaking of this, thanks for the thread bump. I have 2 more Rotrex SC 38-91 test kits sitting here..and need testers.
We need a fully loaded, heavy truck. Every weight adding mod imaginable.

Wow. That has to be one of the most arrogant responses from a vendor that I have ever read. The person asking the questions just needs a simple answer, but the vendor is much too busy with more important things to even reply. That is called poor customer service. Unfortunately for people like @Tacoman88 and many others (check the OVTune development thread) customer service is not a strong point for OVT. This is a small company who is overly busy, trying to keep up with demand, and doing the best they can. They need to expand in order to serve their customers better.
