I tell you the problem with the new Ford rangers is their overpriced when I saw the first ones at the dealership where I live I went to go bulshit with the salesperson and they had three at their lot and all three of them brand new with zero miles and they were asking 38 for the cheapest one and 46 for the most expensive one I didn't want to tell that guy I could get a one year old Ford F-150 for $10,000 cheaper than that

Hmmm. Interesting. I know, at least last I checked, some of the frame bits were shared with the Titans. . You can even swap over the control arms.

Maybe they cheapened them up? Certainly is possible.

The frontier pro-4x has the exact same suspension as a TRd off-road 4x 4 Tacoma

Also, my uncle has a yellow 2002 Nissan Frontier XE 2WD 3.3L V6/5-speed (I guess you'd call it a DCSB) that he bought brand new. It presently has about 130K miles and aside from ab A/C repair a year or two ago, it has been largely problem-free.

Now I'm going to be tempted to crawl under trucks in the parking lot. My frontier is 1100 mi away right now, and also 2wd, so it won't be much help. It is the tow pig in my life.

My taco definitely has some stuff hanging though.

I'm not being sarcastic my friend has a 11 Nissan frontier pro-4x are we crawl under there and looked at what everything was pretty much the same setup as of Tacoma suspension wise

Yeah I'm pretty sure I've loaded it to capacity and been happy. Not winning races, but safe and competent.

I have noticed that the tail end of mine seems a little heavy maybe. It's gotten me into trouble in slippery conditions before. But it's never been an issue on dry roads, and its lots of fun on rainy days around corners once you get used to it

Pretty sure F150's with the ecoboost turbo's were leaking from their oil pans a couple years ago. Malibu's were cracking pistons in their turbo'd engines. Fuck a turbo. Toyota's got it right with the D4S in the Tacoma i think having direct but also port to clean valves with no turbo's is great. Although i fear they are going to hop on the train in the 4th gen.

Sorry for a crappy pic but I snapped it at the last minute. This is a Mercedes pickup that I was told it's based on the Nissan Frontier. It looked really good.

Pretty sure i plan to get a 2020 MT next year, i'd consider trading in for a 4th gen if they offered a diesel + manual combo that'd sell like fucking hot cakes. Although i also fear they'll ditch the manual.

When the v6 EcoBoost first came out there was a YouTube video and they took a v6 ecoboost engine out of a Ford raptor that had 250,000 miles on it already and they put that v6 ecoboost engine in to a fully built Baja truck and ran the Baja 1000 and there's a engine already had 250,000 miles on it and the engine didn't give them one problem the entire time

yea I also wish I had got a M/T that’s the only thing I sorta regret about my truck.. But when I’m sitting in stop and go traffic for hours and hours I am thankful I got the A/T. I am so happy with my Taco actually could not be happier. So I just wanna get this paid off so I can really go Ham on Mods. But my next Toy will be a M/T FJ for pure off-road fun!

They're well designed engines no doubt. But Ford quality control leaves something to be desired.

A friend had a new 2015 Ecoboost and it was constantly having stupid issues like oil leaks.
