The C4 LoPro should be here in a few weeks, and was looking for hi-lift solutions and came across this.

It's a "JeepsNeeds SAM". Looks like it could work on the LoPro, but not sure. The shackle point on the LoPro is on the angled section of the bumper, so getting the SAM into the shackle point and bringing it level to get the hi lift in could potentially be an issue.

Would certainly work with a rear hitch receiver shackle point and make for a secure jack point on a Tacoma with factory rear bumper as well.

They also have the "DLA" which would certainly work (uses an actual shackle as lift point), but considerably more pricy ($160 vs. $70 for the SAM).

Any other ideas or options for secure lift points using the shackle mounts on a LoPro? I won't be using the bumper openings or hoop as a lift point. Been there, done that on the ARB on my 2002. Bumper openings weren't up to it (bent) and jacked up the powder coat.

    That’s actually pretty cool.

Glad this got brought back up. I've had it in the back of my mind, but ultimately figured "ehhh, I'll get it figured out when the time comes".

Since my original post, they have modified the SAM.

    Original SAM

    New revised SAM

Note the notch in the forward cross brace. I was thinking of doing the same when I first looked at this if it didn't work with the LoPro, but they did it for me.

Seeing this, was pretty sure it would now work with the LoPro type bumper shackle point, so decided to pick one up.

    It does.

So for those looking for a front hi-lift jack point option that won't screw up the powdercoat or possibly bend bumper openings (BTDT on the ARB on the Gen1), this should work.

Their D-lift adapter will also work, albeit at more expense and size, but gives more options as well.
