Nice one, I forgot about the Can-Am's.

Any of you guys watch freestyle MX? I love seeing riders push the limit on what's possible...truly amazing the shit they do. Caleb Moore (RIP) was insane on an ATV

Vid's of trial bike?! Do you feel the trial bike made you a better rider on the DRZ? Always love seeing what trials guys can do on big bikes since they apply a bunch of similar principles.

I don't think I have any videos of myself. Took a training class once with Ryan Young and have some video of him doing stupid (in a good way, haha) stuff on it, like it was just an extension of his body. I'm much more of a novice, and ride the 3 line normally (1-4, one being the hardest line) of my local vintage trials club. As far as a better rider, DEFINITELY! At least at slow speed obstacles. It probably doesn't do much for fast woods stuff, which I'm too much of whimp to do anyway. When I go to group rides/events/rallies that have games (slow races, obstacle courses, etc), I'm usually near the top of the pack, and I attribute a lot of that to trials riding. You can pick up an older used one for $1000, and sell if for the same money two years later as long as you take care of it. You can practice in your yard and not piss off your neighbors (you're really only riding around just above idle most of the time) and some of the older ones are even street legal.

    Don

In reference to orange juice being addictive...it's all about where you ride, I chose to ride from home rather than trailer anywhere990 at 411.jpg Endlich Mesa.jpg

These days I try to keep my pavement down to sbout 50 miles or less per ride. Although my first trip on the 990 years ago was 6800 miles...

I like twisty pavement. Ive done ~300 mile days a few years. Nothing extravagant otherwise.

Our pavement around here is clogged with campers, trailers and tourists for half of the year. On the other hand, we have thousands of miles of dirt that is mostly empty.

Yeah I dumped waaaaaay to much money into that thing LOL It was worth it though, it was fast and you could launch it 10 feet in the air and land without breaking every bone in your body. LOL

Definitely jealous on the dirt/mountains. How many months of riding do you miss out on because of snow?
