Thanks Tom. Ceiling color is need to be repainted white. Ceiling is due for paint. Color on wall is what the missus picked out and it works for the room.

Chances are slim that you will need to repaint when the missus picks out the color. ;) Since I am doing the painting I reserve the right to pick the paint to be used. I have had great results with Sherwin Williams Emerald line of paints.

I hate to paint Tom, Trim I don't mind too much, but walls and ceilings:annoyed:. The missus hates to paint as well. Trying to talk the grand kids into "liking painting" and I'll supervise:D. No luck so far:rolleyes:

Thanks Rob, More like measure twice, measure again and cut, try and cut again . It's done. Like I've said before, we joined the S.K.I. club and are taking advantage of it every chance we can. I don't like getting from home(traveling thru the airport with lines and TSA and Immigration etc.) our destination but enjoy the hell out of our time there. Then the routine home again but it is definitely worth it. I'll try to get some pictures.

Ken: I hate to paint but I know that if I paint it will be with a high quality paint and excellent brushes. Makes the job a lot easier.

    Morning Lady and Gents.

Hi Tom, Years ago we would get Sears best paint and never had any problems. It was washable if something left a mark. Then we started using Benjamin Moore for darker colors (used in the crown moulding room) and it covers very well but alas it is one of the most expensive paints out there. I have Sherman Williams that I bought for the exterior trim and it holds up well. Haven't had to repaint indoors yet:rolleyes:. But I see that coming.. Have a great and safe weekend all and if Dorian takes a wrong turn those down South be safe.

Good afternoon guys. Finishing up the days work on the grill cart, now is time to light up the WSM and get ready to grill some chicken for dinner. I went to an estate sale around noon today and picked up a piece of modern Lodge cast iron shallow griddle with lid for $5.00. Priced right considering I need to do a deep clean on it. No rust just a lot of gummy oil.

I wish Ken...nope gotta keep working...I don't think Kristi trusts me around the house with too much free time. Has some correlation to the Lowes bill going up proportionally with the amount of free time. :notsure: :anonymous:

I can understand that Rob. Debbie has a long list of projects but hesitates to get me started on them because it always involves a new tool or two to make my job easier :D. Lowes and Home Depot are my friends as well as my enemies:rolleyes: always spending in both of them.

Of which, my friend asked me to go with him to HD yesterday to get medicine cabinets like I have in our bathroom. On the way home we were rear ended by a mini bus and to say the least, OUCH. My back hurt real bad and I had trouble catching my breath. Called an ambulance and had a nice ride to the hospital where they took X-rays and checked me all out. Everything came back negative which was a good thing and they gave me a muscle relaxer for back pain... after taking them, told the wife no sex for her last night:rofl:. Taking some motrin and feeling a little achy but other than that, okay. We were going to cancel our vacation but if we wouldn't have a case with the insurance, we would lose the money. So we are going. As soon as I can get the pictures from my friends phone I'll post them. Otherwise all is good.

Sorry about the collision Ken. I have it on good authority that warmer salt water is excellent therapy for back pains. ;)

Rob and Ken: Any project that involves a new tool is a worthwhile project. My grill cart needs smaller rollers. The rollers I have in the garage just will not fit. The mounting plate is too large.. Hi Ho, Hi Ho, it's off to Home Depot I go.

 Sorry for the accident, glad it doesn't seem like any serious injury. But don't get too froggy too fast. That whiplash we all like to joke about isn't really a joke; and can take a week or so to really show up...when the initial inflammation of the area calms down, other injuries might show up. Just food for thought from the kid on the steps ;) ... few extra days in the beach chair with umbrella drinks won't hurt nothing. :)

Thanks for the kind words Rob. The wife has earned the nickname "Nurse Debbie" because of her career as an X-ray tech and learning from the doctors she worked with so she takes good care of me :D. Relaxing in the warm water like Tom said will probably do me a world of good.
