If you want a less sketchy website, how about my Google Drive:
See the link in my post signature below.

Note that I downloaded this from the sketchy website and am using it as are several others.

BTW, just wait until you open that key generator executable. LoL!

Man, image talking to a vegan loves to smoke their tofu. Would probably never be able to escape that conversation.

That seems like probably the third time I've seen Shellshock say that same thing and it makes me roll my eyes so hard every time.

The fact that so many of us are using this file, and have been without issue for years now, gives little to worry about.

Anyone on the fence, do yourself a giant favor and take advantage of the opportunity to have Tech-stream.. not only can you update to the latest .CUW but you have endless diagnostic capabilities at your disposal.

That is not the cracked version of V12, but V14. So, you can connect to 2018s and 2019s also. :D

Very true what you said though.

Just in case anyone wants V12 that was posted here and in the MT Update thread, here you go:
Share deleted. Just grab V14 from my post signature below.

The big deal here is that you install TS but DO NOT launch it when done. Find and swap the mainmenu.exe file first. Then, launch TS and toss in the key code when asked.

Dumb question, but why would you NOT buy the plug&play tablet version?

If you can use the OTS maps, wouldn't you just be gaining functionality by buying the tablet version vs the original?

    • 04A60 and 04B30 do not have the 2.0 beta yet.
    • 04A60 does have the ability to upgrade to 04A61 and then get the beta.
    • 04B30 does not have that ability.
    • 04B30 is sad panda.

If you already own the flash kit you would not have to buy.. if I understand correctly.

Sorry, my question is more why would I buy the standard kit for $699 when I can buy the newer tablet kit for the same price with additional functionality? Or am I reading the listing incorrectly?

You're ready correctly. You can purchase either or. Our Flash kits will eventually have an open- tuning solution for them too. After 2.0 EROM drops we are going to open the ECU up to everyone. That way if you already own our flash kit you can still play with the ECU.
Although we suspect not everyone will want to play with their trucks ECU. Either way the options exist

@OVTune If I were to trade my current truck for a 2020, what would be the process to transfer the license over?

Right now we need 2020 data so you'd just read the ecu and sent to us

04B30 won't be sad panda much longer

Forgive my ignorance, but what exactly does this mean on the handheld product page:

"EROM Patches can be individually purchased separately if you'd like to utilize our latest patching code for the Tacoma 3.5L ECU"

Does that mean we will need to purchase each EROM tune as it comes out?

    Also... Order placed ;)

If you want to tune your own truck while using our custom developed EROM code (access to EROM maps on top of stock tables) it's different and additional on top of all regular tables. For example if you want something developed specifically for your truck, or a table other than regular stuff.

So basically this is how it is going to go >
    2.0 EROM standard (for everyone)
    - Open tuning solution (for everyone) with two methods. (handheld, or flash kit.. because many people own a flash kit already).
    - Additional custom support can be purchased optionally. (lets say YOU want some XTZ table outside of the standard stuff)
    - Tuning support
