    Hey guys, I think it was in this thread that someone mentioned a voltage transformer to increase the voltage output by the alternator just slightly. Can anyone send a link for me to purchase one?

    Whats the general consensus here on the bully dog tune vs the 90l trd tune reflash. I have my own opinion in that the trd tune would more more consistent and reliable than the bully dog tune. I think the way the hptuner works is that it cannot upload a supercharger tune by itself, load table limitations I believe, so I was planning on getting the 'tuner' kit and get the 90l but was hesitant as I believe the 90l defeats you doing burnouts, fake recall b.s., where it closes the throttle if both the accelerator and brake are applied unless you bypass the pedal inputs.

    I hate that brake/throttle restriction, so annoying.

    As far as BD vs trd. I’m not sure. Some people ran the BD with 0 issues, others their truck was running dangerously lean. I would like to think the BD would expand the tables but I don’t know if anyone has confirmed that it does.

    Send in ECU to OVTune to have them load the TRD map. Get TIS and a Mongoose cable to load it yourself. (More expensive)

    Yeah id rather be rich than lean even more so with my dd. Trd tune had some inconsistencies but I had understood it to be less than bd. I'm sure I could come up with a defeat method but was looking for a turn key method.

    I ordered mine direct, not from eBay. The link direct is on that page I sent you. I did not see anything about them being closed, but I only have order confirmation thus far and no way to track if it has shipped.

    I have been trying to do this myself. I have the diode ready, but need to find a add a fuse in the micro variety that will fit the fuse box. So far I have had no such luck doing so.

    I just recently tested my battery, and after 4 years of solid service and abuse it still had 804 CCA available out of the original 930 CCA it is rated. I love Odyssey and am a true believer now in their AGM batteries.

    Haven't found any soot yet but am about about 99% certain there is a leak. AFRs are all over the place even under cruising. I am guessing a leak with cause that if the sensor is downstream of the leak.

    You may want to get smoke tested from the intake on downward to make sure the supercharger is sealed up properly. If it is then smoke test the exhaust.

    Why do I get the feeling he only wants the tune, not necessarily the S/C? Turbo?

    Just throw some compressed air in the tail pipe, skip the smoke?

    That works as well. If he has the method or someone else does. I'm more partial to smoke because it is a visual thing for me.

    The air would work great if he has a water bottle with a little soap in it.
