Elves brought me gifts today....

 

What degree angle are you mounting at? I’m trying to decide on mine...

 

Dunno, I’m between 15-25 I think that is enough to kill doors of asshole parking lot sloths, 25 might impact my doors or render the angle useless for the trucks protection.

Will decide when @Texoma has time for them.

 

I’d recommend a slightly upward tilt, 10* or so. Run em flat and you can introduce an unnecessary bind spot. But too far up you loose rear fender protection and a low skid point which is nice for such long wheel base trucks. Plus it looks kinda dumb

 

@Texoma what angle would you recommend. Still need to use them as somewhat of a step for my wife. She’s barely 5’ tall

 

Noted, just wanna make sure the asshats in the parking lots get what they deserve when they throw open the door like they own the place.

 

Don't worry, they will love coming out and seeing small colored paint chips on 'em.

Made it as far as I can without an extra set of hands. Zebs gonna be here first thing in the morning. 'till then gotta knock out some hw. With the exception of a few really shitty welds they're getting better. I was definitely going too fast.

Sounds good, we would need to ensure new power bands are installed also, and chrome muffler bearings.. SUPER important for long life
