I dont bag, nor condone bagging. I have a static drop and still have a reasonable amount of ground clearance. I do however, appreciate the hard work and dedication these guys put towards their trucks.

People who want a vehicle that looks better, has better ground clearence, and has better flex than stock, or someone who doesn't want or need 4x4 but likes the looks. Or, people who want to do this:

And to answer the previous question... me. Got a problem with it? lol

I lowered my '61 Impala,my '79 Monza, I even lowered my bike so I could reach the damn ground... But I will never, and I do place my hand over my breast, I mean chest as I say this, I swear, lower a truck ;)

I have seen some nice lowered trucks tho..... not taking away the credit of the work....

the whole lowered truck thing aint for me...HOWEVER...i can appreciate the amount of time and energy one puts into building a vehicle...regardless of what it is...

would i drive a pink one? certainly not...but theres plenty of folks who would...and for someone who likes to stand out...that pink one certainly does that...

the owner obviously didnt buy the truck to haul around stuff or go offroad or any other "normal" activities associated with trucks...but maybe they like the shape/styling/reliability of said tacoma

cant fault them for that right? i mean arent those some of the biggest reasons all of us drive the trucks we do?

Man when i opened this i thought it was going to be a girl with a lifter sweet pink taco, first of all lowered trucks are useless, they can't be used as a truck!!! Secondly the paint is a base, its not even a nice shiny one, just the dull in between stage, probably spent all the money on the rims tires, and the lowering, and realized o i want to paint it pink

LMAO - or it was red without a clear coat and faded in his driveway as he waited to afford another rim to match the other three.

    ...viscious.

yea but Nascar uses theirs for speed, they have to deplete stuff to go faster, all the other lowered trucks are for looks, then it gets dirty and they have to wash it, offroad built trucks get more bang for their buck, every part or mod is for a reason and serves a purpose, a person can lower their truck if they want to, i'm not

I'm gonna play devil's advocate here and say that I find the reverse almost as silly -- that is to say those trucks that are raised to ridiculous hieghts. Down here in "So-Cal" you see a lot of it -- trucks so high they need an extension ladder to get in -- and true a lot of them are 4x2. All show and very little go with a CG that high in the air they're impractical for off road, and God forbid their rig ever saw an icey road.
For some reason (can't figure out why ) I don't see these mosters a whole lot back home.

I'm happy to say that I like my prerunner -- it's stance and height are very servicible.

To each his or her own, but I can see running a lowered or extremely raised truck. A truck should be first and foremost -- functional. All else is for show.

    oil change...
a lowerd truck is still a truck. I use to haul a 4 wheeler in the back of my lowerd chevy...and I moved twice in it, It is still by all means a truck. I would drive a lowerd truck any day over some fiberglass car.
And my truck now is only 2wd and is lifted. Dont hate on other peoples trucks or opinions just bc its something you dont like or wouldnt do to your truck.
Everyone has there own thing. who are you to judge?
