i think that paradise blue metallic replaced the blue metallic on the tacoma, but I am not sure

 

What about Surfside Green Metallic, no one would buy that anymore tho

 

this color was the first toyota pickup i had
bring that color back!
i recently had the VIN autocheck done on it
it had a safety recall in 2oo5 with the steering

 

So you want to repaint it?

you need to diagnose this gremlin rattle that I got going on this year for almost six months now
it came back yesterday because I had to battle the swamp ass for a day and turn the A/C on the highway

pulled through McDonalds drive through for my $2.14 lunch and turned A/C off while waiting.
got back on the road and the rattles came back in all gears at 2.1k rpms briefly until I shift again and hit 2.1k, turned A/C back on and rattles 'seemed' to go away or else could barely hear them over the road noise
i dunno, maybe I need to relearn how to shift the gears to keep it out of that Rpm range where it all resonates from somewhere, but only after the A/C has been on and I shut it off
nobody yet on TW has had this same issue that i know of

 

To be fair your definition of light 4x4'ing probably isn't the same as his lol

and its loud as heck!
somebody said it may be the driveshaft
but would it still rattle this loud if i had not been using the A/C

its all so strange...

 

i only noticed it about six months ago when I started having to use the A/C in the late spring
just trying to prevent something more major breaking while this is rattling
somewhere behind the dash or engine compartment, maybe in front of firewall
I thought I checked the shields and made sure they are not loose

 

Been a tough day at work, only for my friend to surprise me with home made lumpia...my taste buds are in heaven right now.

 

I guess i get Labor Day off, that’s cool
