I'm with @tweakit88. Why can't kids just duke it out over their differences anymore? It takes a coward to pull a gun and shoot an unarmed person. Fight it out and live to fight another day. That's why Jeannie and I carry everywhere we go....you never know what kind of crazies you will run into nowadays.

Have y’all seen this Hooke Road Roof Rack system? Similar to Prinsu for half the price? I’ve read a lot of threads on it and the earlier models had issues but they’ve fixed a lot of things now and they are supposed to be a solid competitor in the roof rack scene for $270

I get all that... but have you followed the recent threads in the last two weeks with powdercoated upgrades, new hardware, and a notch cut for the fin, along with the numbers removed?

 

Trust me at first I was like “what is this trash” with all the problems but a a huge got one two weeks ago and said they’ve changed to all black, sturdy hardware, better powdercoating, and the only thing really that’s still an issue is putting weatherstripping on the fairing and keeping it close to the roof so it doesn’t vibrate. If that’s the only mod needed that’s not bad for $270. And it’s stainless steel so even if it does chip here and there it won’t rust.

 

That’s not bad at all. Yea definitely if you can buy the mounts separately why not build your own? I would if I could lol
