Looking to hear the best rebadge kit you have found online, I am looking to black out my badges and I want to know what some of you have found to be the best rebadge kits with the most seamless installs.
I bought some blacked-out Tacoma badges and was ready to block out the OEM badges with painters tape, but once I noticed the adhesive didn't come installed on all of the badges, given the hollow backs, I didn't trust them to stay on.
Tips on installing the foam adhesive on Hollow backed emblems would be greatly appreciated as well.

I used 3M double sided trim tape the first time I removed, blacked out, and reinstalled my badges. Had to trim the width down a bit, but it worked.

A few years later I decided to Plasticoat them while on the truck. The paint was chipping from road stones and was starting to look bad. Plasticoat was THE BEST THING EVER. Leave the badges on on the truck. Tape off an area around the badges and leave about a 2" area between the badges and the tape, spray the Plasticoat, peel off the overspray. I used a wooden tooth pick to remove the Plasticoat that was in the small areas of teh badges. Easy Peezy, and 5 years later they still look great. No peeling or chipping.

I have plasti dip, and plenty of. Might use that method for all the badges that are on the truck. Still want to add the 4x4 emblem to the tailgate and plasti dip to match

So when I reinstalled my badges, I used blue painters tape to outline two sides of where the badge goes. That helped a lot so I didn't have to "eyeball it".

I found a kit on Ebay that included the two front doors and all the tailgate emblems. I think it was $30 the emblems were the same size also. 22B84913-3AD5-4233-B0EB-15671E1215D9.jpg
