    That sounds like a great idea! I’d double check the torque on each one first though. It would be a win win because once they’re torqued and welded you won’t have to worry about them backing off! Unless there’s some disadvantage here I’m not aware of that’s a simple solution @LarsonFan ! :cheers:

    I know I’ve seen people with racks over covers, so I searched a little and found this one. It has pictures on their website with it over the factory cover and maybe a diamondback cover. Seems like it would work with most but the company would likely know best! Here’s the link, hope it’s what you’re looking for!

    If you ever wanted to take them off just grind the the bolt off past the weld. I would just tack weld 3 of them in case you did want to take them off at a later date.
