Went car shopping today. Couldn't find 1 4wd 4runner, Taco or FJ.

 

Yeah most of them are preme's. Did you check autotrader etc etc? That's where I found mine then went to the dealer that had it.

Are you looking brand spanking new, slightly used, or something less $?

 

I want a used one that is completely stock. Somewhere around 20-22k.

 

I got it. I'll keep an eye open. If there's anything up by me that looks promising I can check it out when I get a chance.

hey guys, I need to lift our hunting truck. It's a '96 chevy 1500 4x4. 4wp is doing a special for pro comp lift, free install when you buy one. Its just a beat up truck that gets us to tree stands so we dont need anything special (it's no tacoma) but it has to handle mud. The 6 inch pro comp with some 35x10.5 super swamper TSL's is what we have so far, but what I need to know is what do you guys think about adding a locker? Anyone have experience with this type of set up and adding a locker? Which ones should I be looking at?

 

If it's just a mud truck I would just weld the spiders.
