Just out of curiosity, would running a AIT sensor after the supercharger have any benefits?

The idea would be to tap one into the lower intake manifold and splicing the temp sensor from the MAF to that new AIT sensor.

Hopefully it would help the computer better compensate for Boost and the added heat.

Anybody have any thoughts on that?

I've thought about doing it with the turbo. How does the computer handle hotter temps? Will it add more fuel to keep cylinder temps down?

Maybe, if you can do it right. That TRD is way low lb. The efficiency scale and temps get astronomically high, especially as you approach 9 psi

Any way possible it seems. I asked again while they were doing my truck to verify they wanted that much. The guy said it was actually cheap when I said that's crazy. Tried saying the fluid he uses in the difs are worth 70 dollars on its own lmao

I was just hoping it would scale timing back in closed loop and below 3000rpm. That way I wouldn’t have to pull so much timing to stay safe on hot days.

Got it done and the tech spilled oil all in my engine bay. I thought for a second he didnt tighten the filter enough bc that's where the majority of it was. I drove and checked again to make sure no more accumulated and he just spilt. Then they said I need to changed my clutch and brake fluid bc it's over 4% moisture omw out from the shop. Aren't the clutch and brakes off the same reservoir tho?

Who was on here complaining about the cost of lug nuts, wheel studs or something along those lines?

Towed it to my aunts house. Need to fix it so I can sell it. My boss told me I needed to get it out of the back lot at my dealer before construction starts

Not exactly, I just did a bunch of work on mine. I don't live near salt water at all l, and wash the truck religiously. These aftermarket plated studs are from the hub to housing and wheel studs. I just wanted to show the
difference in what you pay for. You can see the cad plated ones have flatter threads and more rust and corrosion. They are newer then the factory black ones.

I was doing this, thats why I discovered it.

……...First of two minor projects today. I built a little panel for the top of my winch to keep the sun from fading/weakening the synthetic line. Used a 10 inch x approx. 8 piece of aluminum flashing. Ten inch was just enough to span across the top of the winch. I cut 3/4 x 1 notches on each corner to allow me to wrap/roll the ends around the rods on the top of the winch. Fastened it all with four zip ties.

Project two was to reinforce the top of my center console. Sorry forgot to take pictures. But here is the dimensions shown by the scrap. I used 1/8 inch aluminum plate that was an airfoil for my cargo basket that wasn't used. IMG_0636.jpg IMG_0637.jpg

Basically, you remove all of the various screws on the underside of the lid. This will allow you to remove the padded part, and the base, which has the arms will remain in place. You must drill two holes to allow two of the screws that hold the hinge to go through. I went much oversized, as it was hard to get exact measurements, and it didn't matter anyway. You will also need to trim down about five areas on the padded portion that are slightly raised about the surrounding supports (circular pieces) its only about an 1/8 inch, if that. Then on the base part, you will see three raised supports. These need to be completely ground down. Then screw everything back together. I had to get a couple of #8 x 1/2 inch sheet metal screws to replace the ones for the hinge, as the additional material made the originals a bit too short. It firms the padded area back up, and keeps the underneath plastic from cracking (or at least getting any worse, in my case). I use my elbow on this when getting into the truck, so it had gotten fractured and felt "soft". Much better now!! Thanks @mechanicjon for this idea.
