    Looks like it’s lined in aromatic cedar, that’s good, I’ve been using the Boveda humidity packs to maintain mine. Get yah some 70% packs throw a couple in the humidor.

    Yes that’s humidifier, I was doing the distilled water thing for a while but switched to the humidity packs and haven’t looked back. Super easy low maintenance method of maintaining the humidity especially with that size humidor. Looks like a nice box, can’t beat the price.

    The main thing to do now is get the humidity up to and holding around 70%

    Yeah just drop the pack in the box n close it up. They will start to crystallize then you throw em out a replace with a fresh pack. I typically keep two in my humidor to maintain 70-72% humidity. The reason I moved away from distilled water was due to a runaway humidity issue where it was up to and over 80% then I ended up with mold that was caught early before destroying the investment.

    Pickin up a new humidity gage would be good idea as well, it’s nice know your maintaining temperature as well
