I am still parting out accessories from my Taco that I bought but never used. These are new, never used. I just opened them to look at them and stuck them in my garage. $30 shipped to you (lower 48 only) via regular mail in a bubble wrap envelope or you can pick up if you are ever in Montgomery, AL.

Do you have any other parts and accessories you want to get rid of?

I probably do but will have to dig through my garage. I have the NIB Ray 10s now and TPO Swirl Rear Bumper Cap covers/shelz but I’m pretty sure @cubie is getting those. If he changes his mind then I’m officially putting those up.

Honestly, I’m not really going to know until I work through my garage but I’ve sold most stuff (I think) and I can PM you if I find anything but I’m also wanting to make sure I follow any BST rules so if I put it up I gotta post pics. :)

We are headed your way sometime tomorrow to hit Wind Creek and pick those bumper caps up. I'll shoot you a text and let you know before we leave Southside.

No problem, I’ll be around and I’ll hang on to them for you. It’ll likely be the afternoon before I’m available but I’m just a few minutes from WC.

No problem - glad to help if I can. My plan was to clean out the garage today but some pain issues kept me on the couch.

It’s for the whole truck (all four doors) but it is sold. Sorry. I will update the title.

Yes. I’ve driven them for so long but this one gave me so many problems until I just sold it. I know I could have gone Lemon Law but my life and career in general has just been too busy to fool with it. We have been caring for my wife’s parents and her father went to sleep on his birthday on July 4th and couldn’t get out of bed since until he finally passed away on August 4th after fighting Parkinson’s for 12 years. He fought hard.

My wife had to have radioactive iodine to kill her thyroid from Graves’ disease and, long story short, it is all I can do just to keep up with my own work caseload. Corporate really peed me off this last time around so I was more than ready until things just started falling apart at home with stuff going on. And, we had 2 kids get married in 3 months and 1 graduation from high school and another moving off and then back from college. I just didn’t have time to go after them.

Long story short, I got about 3 grand less than I paid for it and drove it 2 1/2 years. If I would have had the time I was going after them with both barrels loaded, but I just didn’t. My door seal area was rusting out on both sides, the replacement rear diff was church pew quiet for 1500 miles and then started back with a vengeance. My tranny issues were just getting worse and I had a vibration that was literally making me sick, all this in 17K miles. I really like the looks and the idea of a Taco, but I just couldn’t keep this up. Driving the truck, as much as I wanted to love it, made me mad. Life is too short and when my FIL took the turn for the worst, I sold it.

I am now driving our grocery getter (VW GTI - always loved my GTIs) but I miss a truck. I looked at a ZR2 and even a Silverado Trailboss. I am thinking they are he current front runners. I also looked at a Ranger but that’s essentially a 9 year old rebadged global offering and the fit and finish of it was atrocious and Ford should be embarrassed. But, Ford actually has an all new one planned for 2021. I know this is a Toyota forum but I’ve owned over 30 new cars and my domestic trucks have been better than my last 2 Tacos, and it has not been close. Now, that wasn’t the case going back into the 90s and before when I was a kid, but for the last 20 years my domestics have been more reliable.

My issue is that I still love the looks of the Taco and it is what I ave been used to, so I may hold out on buying anything until we see if the rear diff and tranny issues are resolved. My diff had excessive shavings in it. It was bad. I also was told the pinion angle was off. But, if the issues are fixed, I will consider another one and it’ll be a 5 foot bed this time. My last 2 were 6 foot beds. I would welcome feedback on the 19s. Do they have the howl? Tranny issues? Are they still rusting in the door seal areas?
