...so I bought a Taco. Greetings to all from an Army Vet in the Pacific Northwest. I'm a full-time student at Oregon State (Go Beavers!) and I'm a hobbyist auto mechanic, dabble in aesthetic customization, and I'm pretty good in the audio/electronic department. Looking to post a few tutorials, and learn from a few as I work on my truck.

    Welcome...

So, how good is the Mexican food in Oregon? I grew up in Texas and find most of it here in NC deplorable... not sure I would expect much better in the Pacific NW.

Thanks for the welcome. Think I'm going to hack my grill up next, one less badge and a lot more black.

I was born and raised in California, and I have had some pretty good Mexican food. I don't think the good authentic places are as common as you move farther from the southwest, but in a global economy it seems you can get just about anything anywhere.

The PNW actually has a decent selection of mexican food. We have a huge farming community up here so alot of migrant workers and/or mexicans so the food is pretty decent. I am originally from San Diego so I know mexican food, and its pretty good up here, especially Muchas Gracias like i said before.
