We cancelled our flight to Tampa for tomorrow. We are going to Louisville, Kentucky instead but driving from Maryland there tonight. At least we are getting away

 

Yeah, I am going to wait a bit and see where its going to hit. I may hop in the car and head out if it stays on the track its on. It will change 10 more times before it hits.
I'm not the freak out type. Hurricanes aren't like earthquakes, you have time to prepare and plan.

 

You'd think the people the news says are in lines to get gas, food, water, supplies, would be a little more prepared instead of waiting until shelves are bare.

Yeah it seems every time this is what people go through. I always had a suitcase packed and supplies ready each season....

 

It's pretty interesting to watch first hand. I went this morning to top off the truck and fill my gas cans, then popped into walmart to get some everyday stuff. They were wiped out.

One question though - why the hell do people buy milk? I mean, really?

 

You might consider filling up with the extra cans once you get to the concert. I wouldn't be surprised with the shortages, if someone took the opportunity to steal the gas. You just never know with people.

 

And I thought that only was a Northeast blizzard thing lol

 

We did it at home, not much gas to be found in Miami right now

I just saw a report on WC that this might hook east and outer winfield graze just land mass only up through NY.....

 

These are the changes in the forecast from Wed to Saturday. At the rate this fuckers moving around I'd not be too surprised if it hit Arizona.

Those people are living paycheck to paycheck and they’re buying all that shit on credit and they know (sic) the government will take care of them.

We are still "watching" and hoping this thing turns BUT remember Irma , how many changes did that Bitch have before she "landed"

 

Lived in Florida for 20+ years,, If you've never experienced a hurricane its hard to wrap your mind around the strength of these storms and the mass destruction they cause. My heart goes out to all who are in the path of this latest hurricane. Good luck, I will be praying it turns harmlessly out to sea.

 

My main concern is the bitch stalling out. Even with the NHC models having it off the coast a bit...if it stalls it aint gonna be good.
