Damn Jag, just saw its over 100 units sold because of you. too bad they don't give you a free one for all this....I think in the last few days you probably doubled their business.

It depends on how the gauge reads everything. If you read the TTORA thread, there are 3 ways manufacturers to read stuff from the OBD2 port. Toyota uses ISO (one pin out) and they used the other two pin outs for other things (the ABS diagnostic mode being one of them)

With the scangauge, i guess it read all of them, which included the ABS pin out, so thats why it would throw the ABS into diagnostic mode. People that have scangauges were able to force it to read ISO only, so the problem was gone.

Basically, if it reads the OBD2 port the same way the scangauge does from the factory, you'll have the ABS problem. If it reads ISO only (which since its toyota specific it probably wont) it wont throw the ABS problem.

I noticed that the ABS light only goes on when i have my locker engaged, so would having the ultra gauge affect my everyday driving or maybe i could just take it out when i offroad?

So does that mean the ABS is disabled when the locker is engaged? Can anyone confirm this? Makes sense.

ok so from what I've heard, when the ABS light is on this means that the ABS is disabled. So my idea doesn't work well unless I only wanted to use it while i was locked.
