I ordered the set off of Etsy and made sure one side would be reverse and the other standard so the star fields would always be in the upper right. To get them lined up I took painters tape and put a strip lined up with the underside of the Pro badge and then another strip perpendicular to that closest to the front fender

Isn't the passenger side flag backwards? The star field is in the upper right in the pic. I see it a lot and wonder if that's incorrect

Yeah, the flag is “backwards” but in the military it is worn that way on the right shoulder. If the flag was the standard orientation with the stars on the left then it would appear the flag bearer is “retreating”

The flag should always be displayed with the field of blue on the upper left, however if that flag were on a pole attached to that truck and while stationary with the field on the upper left, the moment the truck advanced in a forward direction the flag would spin on the pole thus causing the field to be oriented towards the upper right because of wind. Basically while the upper left is the rule the harder rule is the flag should never be shown to be retreating

Ahhh ok thank you. I've seen it a lot and always wondered if it was the correct way to display it, now I know (and I'm about to order some for me!!)

It’s technically required in MD but I’ve never had an issue. Just buy one on Amazon and connect it to the towing harness.

I love this look albeit some 16” bronze TRD wheels would really make it pop

Can you please explain how you went about stenciling your soft top.
I just bought one and want to do something similar...

How did you make / where did you purchase your stencils?
Also, what kind of material did you use to spray? Spray paint? Did it hold up against the weather elements or is it now fading?

I would greatly appreciate any insight!!
