No, it doesn't bother me at all. Took me a couple days to get used to it, but haven't thought about it since.

Lol on people who know what's "right." Get 10 people in the same room and there will be "10" right ways lol.

Except the "up and down" reverses going from XM to stored music haha. "Down" advances XM channels in numerical sequence like 6, 7, etc and when playing stored music "Up" plays the next song in sequence. Even as an engineer I facepalm that decision!

I have a 4Runner and a Tacoma, driving them about equally.

The controls are the same "button", with different functions between the two. Total nightmare, Toyota. In the 4Runner, volume hangs up the phone. Neat.

I had to reprogram my brain to think larger triangle means more swishy more of the time. That should work until year 2025 when they hire different engineers that think the other way. Then I don't know what my brain will do since I will be too old to remember which way the fly zipper opens to pee.

I guess I am the only one that was never bothered by it lol. Made sense to me cause it matches the UI as others have said. I also was coming from much older vehicles that didnt have these types of features at all, so I basically learned on the truck i guess:notsure:

You can take the button out and rotate it to the other orientation.

I doubt that it is as simple as that.

But even if it did work, the end result would be wrong.

    Could be worse.

The truck could run like shit Ram, look like Shit Silverado, or just be a piece of F150.

I guess I’ll take a bad ass Taco that works great and learn to crank the volume with the knob, oh wait I’ve done that before.

No. It is software controlled. I think MESO is or has mods.

Same here, hard to believe how some let such trivial issues bother them .

The door lock buttons on the door and the fob are also backward. Raised bump should mean door lock is up and open.

I can deal with it, it's getting used to another truck after driving the Taco a day or two that trips me up. I'll turn on the wipers and turn off the radio to make a lane change or forget to push the clutch in and can't figure out why it won't start lol

I'm good, I don't want to drive that abomination minivan/crossover/truck hybrid.
