Thought I’d give my review. After 10,000 miles I’ve gotten better gas mileage than my Duratracs C rates in the same size. Rides great and no complaints on the road.

Only complaint is after 3 months I got a hole in the sidewall. It may be a fluke, but this a reminder to buy our certificates if you purchase from @Discount Tire. Got lucky this time!

Is that a C load tire or E load?

This right here is why I'm hesitant to try anything but ko2 and st maxxx. Sidewall punctures are a deal breaker.

I guess it depends on what caused the puncture. Any tire can fall victim to road debris.

true, but there's also reputation. and quite frankly, goodyears track record for thin sidewall and easily punctured is long.

I’d like to know what caused a sidewall puncture on a e rated tire? I think my st maxx sidewalls could stop small arms fire (sarcasm). These were at the top of my list along with the falkens. St maxx are hard and loud but they do tear shit up off-road.

I cannot say I've had a positive experiences with the GY Ultraterrains on my 4Runner.

I went through 2 sets. Most them them had very high road force (30 to 45lbs) which made all sort of vibrations and violent shaking. One tire even had a thumping problem.

After all of the problems with the Ultraterrains, America's Tire let me exchange them for BFG KO2's which are much better.

Not at all. Pretty smooth and quiet. Initially I wasn’t so sure about getting the KO2’s as replacements for the Ultraterrains because of lots of reports of balancing problems.

I'm on ko2s now after Duratracs and 2 sets of STT PROs. Love the ride. LOVE the quiet. Far better off road than I expected. No issues with balance. 10k miles so far. Will buy again.

Looking for some feedback from the higher mileage tires? Other than the side wall issue, seems most think they are a good buy. I am leaning towards these, help me commit.

Almost went with these, but Goodyear's history of thin sidewalls scared me away.
I went with a set if Dick Cepek EXP, still a two ply sidewall but noticably more robust than the Goodyear's.

I've put 10,000 miles on mine and they are doing just fine. In rain, mud, snow, forest roads and mall parking lots. I run them cold at 30psi usually.

Just bought some Method MR701 wheels and need to figure out what to wrap them with. Going 265/75/16 SL and for a daily driver with weekend offroad use, the logical 2 I believe are these or WP AT3W. Obviously Pro of the Falken is it's proven and it's cheaper with the Con being the balancing issues and the extra 4 lbs as compared to the Ultra. Help me make this decision since I want to pull the trigger in the next 48 hrs to take advantage of the DTD rebate. My concerns with this tire is really it's long-term durability/road noise, traction etc.

I'm gonna go with the SL instead of E...currently it's saying only 3 in stock but I PM'd DT. I need 5...these are actually going on my Montero which has the spare mounted to the back so I got 5 wheels, and gettin' 5 tires.
