@HolyHandGrenade i just remembered, if you’re looking for a big truck to make a tow rig, I remember seeing some 70s-80s Mercedes Unimogs for sale up in New York. I don’t have a link however

 

Thanks man. I pretty much have my heart set on a square body dually at this point. And I’m not going to do anything until after we move. Unless I came across a good deal on one that is good to go as is for a little while. But I’m not really looking any longer for the moment.

I thought I’d made a deal on three of them and it didn’t work out. Two of them the guys decided last minute that the wanted to keep them. The third the guy just got flakey. Then there was the big Ford that I couldn’t get anyone to insure unless it was commercial insurance.

Now I’m waiting until we move to PA.

 

Not sure why they wouldn’t put a bigger Ford on your personal insurance, my father owns a 20’ E350 box truck for personal use and has it on his personal insurance

I’m kind of glad I didn’t buy that one now anyway. Square body is what I really want.
