    Looks like I'm out

I hate having weekends off; when I go camping, NO ONE is out where I'm at.

    No traffic either.

Went up to Lake Tahoe today with the family, @Tour991 it was a f'king ZOO up there haha. We were at Kings Beach and it was so packed you couldnt step 2ft in either direction on the beach without walking over someone. Traffic was gnarly too.

I remember you said on Friday it seemed like no one was up there but man they must have come up in droves on Saturday/Sunday

Yeah it's no fun in my opinion being around that many people. Especially in such a beautiful area, ruins the experience.

    Yeah yeah I know I'm a scrooge...but we're overdue for a biblical plague

Next season we need to plan a group run. Something easy so we get a good group, but with some harder stuff for folks that want too. We can hang out, bullshit, eat and drink. Just a good time. So gents lets get thinking about it. We can find a spot in the middle of California, so no one drives for days.

I never want to swap another engine in my life. It ate into so much of my time that I'm used to wasting :D. The reward is worth it though. Now it's just a matter of plumbing the exhaust and fuel, then putting the interior back and splicing some of the Tacoma harness to into the 4runners. I used the whole of the Tacoma's harness and will probably use most of what goes to the tails because the fuel pump is tied to that part. It will be an upgrade in the wires age so that's a plus.

Right, because it’s the only metal that will survive Indiana winters.

Hollister Hills could be a good place to do that

Or, we could do something more remote out in the Sierras. I would prefer that to be honest but Hollister Hills does have a lot of trail options for all levels of wheeling

Fuck no lol. I'm Pismo'ed out for the foreseeable future.

Plus if I'm gonna drive a ways to camp for a few days, I want it to be uncrowded, remote and beautiful. Pismo is none of those things
