Up at 0400 this morning and on road at 0600, 280 mile round trip to shoot some sporting clays with some friends in Wi. Got home this afternoon and nap. Charcoal just started. Good day, so far anyhow.

Dove and early goose opened today. Friend of mine left couple of days ago for Montana where Sharptails and Huns opened today. His French Britt is 14 almost 15. Victor still has it, he sent me this picture on the cell couple of hours ago. Most likely his last year.

Looks like Steve took his Marlin model 90 16 ga. They are a bit heavy for a 16 and ugly as sin but they still work.

Got that T shirt almost 15 years ago. I didn't ask to stay they kept me for almost a full week. Up until that I point I had no idea just how serious pneumonia was. You will not find me liking any post that has that word in it. But I am sure as hell glad you made it through it!

I was in St. Mary's Hospital at Mayo Clinic when I had it. Doctor made his rounds with a bunch of residents in tow. I made a joke about they could at least give me my laptop so I could work and he stared at me. Then said I was the second sickest patient in the Mayo Clinic hospital system and the sickest just died at age 29. Of pneumonia. Which made me the sickest and he wasn't going to loose me too. He ended up becoming my primary care physician and we have a great relationship now.

Had alot of fun today. Finally was able to go somewhere without worrying about if I am going to drop dead or not. Took my youngest son to a friend of mine's lake home and he had a blast. His first time on a jet ski. He ran it out of gas twice, LOL.

    Good Evening All!

I hope everyone had a wonderful day. We sure did. Haven't even had a chance to catch up on TW.

I didn't even check in this morning. Fixed coffee and just jetted out the door at 6am. Took my son and his friend to the Northwest OHV in Bridgeport,TX. We had a blast!

Here is just a hint of the day. I'll have to get some more pictures but I'm exhausted right now.

    My son driving. He's 13.

Thanks everyone. The fun part for me as well was taking my pretty Tacoma over there to show it off! I cleaned her up good yesterday. Tire black and all. Also, as I live in Alabama, even we poke fun at rednecks. Seen the ultimate redneck vehicle/thing/bronco whatever today. The back roof was sawed off over what would have been the rear seat area. They had an old couch where the rear seat area should have been. Rusty the Redneck driving it, wife beater shirt on, oversized sunglasses, and a big plug of chaw in his cheek. In the rear seat sat two, assumingley female people, that could have made the Throw Mamma From A Train woman look like a hot date.

Man, that is one ugly mean looking bastarge. Still going west as of 10pm according to the weather channel. They are hoping it turns like the models think.

God help. I haven't seen an eyewall that well organized in my lifetime I think. I think Ivan was the last one that had one as bad as this.

Last time in the Hospital which was 5 yrs ago I would sleep with headphones playing music . This made it easier to sleep and when the nurses came in my room to check vitals they had a hard time waking me up

I'm doing the same thing when I get my knee replaced next month
