    Hello

My 2006 Tacoma will not engage into 4wheel drive. The lights do not come on at all(no flashing). Prior to this, had a difficult time taking it out of 4 wheel drive(flashing) the after that...nothing. Have had this for 8 years and love it! Pls help

Actuator is most likely shot. How often did your engage just to test it and exercise it

Have you checked the 20A 4WD Fuse?
If that’s good, I’d check the actual 4WD selector Switch.

Fixed a friends same problem. 3x10mm bolts takes the actuator off. 2 plugs and a vacume hose. Just took it off cleaned the rotating contacts and re-used the same dielectric grease that was already in there and smeared it all over the contact strips and put it back together and worked like new.
