I have decided on the OME 3" lift with the all pro UCA but slightly confused on 2 things.
whats the differance between the toytec aal and the aal tsb?
and if i get the 886 do i still need to add the top spacer for the full 3" if im on a stock bumper? i do plan on an after market bumper so will be adding the weight later. and has anybody had issues with this ome lift while doing some pretty hardcore offroading and some mild rock crawling?

Just a question my truck will be coming up on 50 k soon so the suspension needs to be done. with the ultimate lift would it be smart to get the carrier drop too? Also what about new UCA? or could i go without?

Yes you could do 18" rims. The max you could do with 18's would be around 285/65/18.

This thread is awesome... actually I've been pretty impressed with everything I've seen on this forum in the last few weeks I've been lurking. Just wanted to say thanks!

...and after reading through this, the OME kit is in my near future ;)

These two are a whole lot better than the Pro Comp lift.

I just finished installing the OME kit. I was impressed with the quality of the parts and seems to ride nice, have only put about 5 miles on it thus far to go get an alignment.

aal is not any better than stock. A leaf pack increases your payload and gives a better ride

So if I have billy's all the way around and I want to eventually buy the toytec adjustable coilover kit for the 5100's and the dakar leaf pack...that would be the same setup that comes with the ultimate kit wouldn't it??

No, OME Dakar leaf pack is designed for offroad expeditions where you're carrying lots of heavy gear on long trips over rough roads far from civilization.

Flip side of that is it's a little bouncy when you take your unladen truck down to the 4x4 park for an afternoon of wheelin'

Got a couple hundred miles on mine so far, but won't get it dirty till the end of th e month. Happy so far.

I had a tough decision between OME and TOYTEC but I decided To get TOYTEC and im fucken happy i did.

The preset 2.5" lift was to much so i had to lower the coils but its not a problem cause its adjustable collars!!!! Now if i had the OME and a bad cv angle......im fucked just gotta hope for the best cant adjust it.

Install was fairly easy, learned alot on one side then flew threw the other. I got about 100mi in it and the ride is ALOT better than that spacer that was installed previously!!

    I recomend TOYTEC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Toytec ULK, Light Racing UCA's, OME Dakar rear leaves, ARB Bumper with XRC8 winch, Good Year Duratracs 285/70/17's on 17x9" Level 8 Strike 6's. Leer cap in the winter. Pioneer Double Din with BT, iPod, etc. Boston Acoustic components in all 4 doors with a Sony amp, powered 8" sub. Ultra gauge, Tom Tom...
Just ordered the "Ultimate" kit with Dakar springs and LR UCA's. After talking to a rep (I wish I could remember his name, he was VERY helpful) I went that way because I can't afford a winch and bumper yet, but hopefully this summer. I was told the 886's would be too stiff for the front with no extra weight, so I would have to go with 885's for now then upgrade later to the heavier springs. I don't want to do it twice, it seems pretty labor intensive.

I get to get rid of the spacers and rear springs (non-tsb) with 117,000mi., and hopefully improve my ride and front geometry. The adjustability of the front coils was a huge plus also. I'll probably start in the 2.5" range up front, then adjust as necessary when the bumper and winch are affordable.

I'm excited to see "brown" at my door in the next few weeks!!

Hope my decision was educated and worth the extra couple hundred bucks!
