My dog was going crazy this morning. Additionally, my neighbor has a new dog/pregnant g/f living with him now. Every time they leave the dog barks for HOURS until they come home. I finally saw her with the dog. I told her that he barks and we can hear him. Just shrugged it off like it was no big deal. I understand dogs bark, but the fact that it barks starting at 7 in the morning and continues until after dark is dumb. I hate people.

 

EDIT: They literally just left. I heard his truck start and the dog is fucking barking already.

 

It’s the owners not the dog. They need to train the dog and put in crate. Bet it’s running loose and eating the sofa

 

I don't disagree. I have had issues with this dude since the first week he moved here. We do not have trash valet or anything. He left 4 bags of trash beside his door for a few days. It was disgusting and I had to ask him to take his trash down. Here we are a year and a half later and I have had to resort to reporting him often. Just this week he had 4 leaky trash bags just sitting there from Sunday until Friday. I hate neighbors.

 

Some people just aren't suppose to have dogs, unfortunately they don't realize this till they get one and see how much work they are. Some more than others. People don't research and just get the dog they want without knowing what kind of characteristics run in certain breeds. This is especially true when living in an apartment. Sorry to here about your troubles bud.

 

I just keep hoping when I move we get a decent neighbor.

Luckily we live on a corner lot so only have one neighbor to deal with, unfortunately it's a rental and we have had crappy luck with all previous tenants there. The one right now mostly keeps to himself but neglects the yard so you got tall weeds and untrimmed bushes which sucks. I'm not saying my yard is imaculate but I try to keeps it as best I can. But yes sometimes having neighbors sucks

Last night....



Tonight, burgers & fries. Hope everyone is enjoying their Labor Day!

 

Still not allowed to use the big boy ladder and get on the roof, but I can use the step ladder to hand stuff up and down, and take some pictures. We left off about halfway, but the first side needed a second coat, and the second side needed the flashing completed with a thick coat. Son knocked it out in a little over an hour this morning.







You can see it was pretty worn and dirty. Just being that white again will probably lower the temp in the sun room!

 

We are "lucky" for half of a clock! Behind us a 6:00, a big empty field that will stay that way until City makes it water control. 9:00 owners, and wonderful people that keep up. 10:00, renters, but mowed and good folks. 12:00 renters (really long term), who take care of it, but owner not much help for them. 1:00, A nurse we never see, who has younger family mow the yard, which isn't pretty, but mowed. 2:00 the owner whose house burned down. An oddly landscaped Sanford and Son... 3:00 the Newest "owners" (finally) who have a yard of weeds, weed trees, pets that die, and serve no useful purpose on earth.
So, we got it ALL!

At one point, there was a registered pedophile down the street, but I haven't checked that in a long time! Street was probably 70% owned and 30% rented when we move here in the 80's, and now that is flipped. But, I carve out my yard and pool, and it's surprisingly quiet really.

 

Evening y’all, I’ll be headed back to town this evening. I’ve been trying to ignore all the great Labor Day sales on parts.

There have been a few vendors here that had some good deals. I almost bought a diy bumper kit, but I’m trying to stay on task and finish the motor and trans mods first .
